    Hi everyone
    Can I scan the above veh even though on my MX808, it only goes as far back as the 1996 model, but with the same specs as above
    I wish to scan codes and run a live test checking fuel trims etc
    Can I damage any of the cars electronics as a result of testing?
    Just trying to help a friend

    Hi, it just could be this car is still obd1 with the 12 pin gm connector, you than need a
    older scanner like a snap on device or gm tech one and the connector to read this. Car

    Also you can read codes manually by connect a and b in the 12 pin connector and
    count the than blinking cel light,it starts with 12 and ends with 12 four times.
